Students who apply for the Rewarding Potential Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Family income must fall below 200% of EOP and HEOP
- Students must apply to at least one SUNY or CUNY school and one reach school
- Students must complete the Rewarding Potential Scholarship application which includes:
- Information about the colleges and universities to which they have applied
- Their high school resume
- Their college essay
- Two letters of recommendation, one from their guidance counselor and one additional
- Their high school transcript
- Verification of their family financial status
