Rewarding Potential Scholarship was founded in 2014 by local community members in partnership with the Bedford Presbyterian Church.
Initially inspired by the story of one Fox Lane graduate who dreamed of attending college but was unable to do so without financial assistance and the support of a mentor, the group wondered,
How many other students have the academic credentials and ambition for college but find that dream impossible due to background or income?
What can we do to help transform their college dreams into reality?
With ongoing generous support from local donors, Rewarding Potential Scholarship has offered 42 four-year scholarships to Fox Lane High School graduates in the past 10 years.
