Students who apply for the Rewarding Potential Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Member of the current year’s graduating class at Fox Lane High School
- Plan to attend a four year accredited college or university and obtain a bachelor’s degree
- Maximum family income not to exceed 2 times (double) the EOP (Education Opportunity Guidelines) Please see the adjusted income / household guidelines below.
- Student must apply to at least one SUNY or CUNY school
- Student must complete the Rewarding Potential Scholarship application which includes:
- Information about the colleges and universities to which they have applied
- Their high school resume
- Their high school transcript
- Their college essay
- Two letters of recommendation, one from their guidance counselor and one additional letter
- Verification of their family financial status
